This looks a good opportunity for MIDTOWN LIGHTS to get herself back in the winners enclosure. She has been running at a better level than this and just shaped as though she'd come on for the run when fifth on reappearance last month. She has more to come as she is fairly lightly raced and should prove the answer. Clover Street showed a good attitude to prevail by a head last time from off the pace and looks the danger.
The improving SIMOVIC looks the one to be on here. This colt has been knocking on the door in two starts this season and only went down a length over track and trip last month. He is obviously open to further improvement and should have too much for these in the closing stages. Don Corleone is yet to show a great deal but he should do better with experience and might improve and emerge as the main threat.
