French recruit DEMNAT couldn't have been much more impressive on debut for this yard winning by 15 lengths at Ludlow last month. He made all the running and always seemed to be in his comfort zone. The ground is likely to be even more testing here so it should be ideal conditions. He is 10lb higher but could easily still be ahead of the handicapper. Kansas City Star is likely and was back to winning ways at Huntingdon so looks the danger despite a 4lb rise for that.

The drop in grade coupled with the cut back to a mile seemed to do the trick for LEDGER over C&D last month. This is winnable again and I think he has a great chance to follow up with Oisin Orr getting the leg back up. He was actually briefly denied a run before coming through strongly to win last time so I think you can mark that up somewhat. Copper Mountain was well held last time but is better than that and if bouncing back looks the main threat.
