After getting caught wide on debut PATRIOTIC DUTY made no mistake next time out pinging the gate and getting on the lead. He went up through the gears in good style and won by 4 lengths at the line. He has been given plenty of time since and is obviously open to further improvement so should be the one to beat. Asset Basis sets the standard but has been struggling for form. That might leave the unexposed Pacific Theater as the main danger.
