Hard to look past FOXENBERG here off the back of that debut win. He won by nearly 2 lengths and with improvement expected he should make it a perfect 2-2. Close To Midnight was a good second at Caulfield and if building on that is the danger.

I thought that was a big run in defeat from APEX at Canterbury last month. If he comes forward from that again he will have a great chance to go one better and get himself back in the winners enclosure. Don’t Doubt Merlin can do better and is probably the biggest threat.
