There was plenty of promise in that debut run from CABRIOLE where he was only beaten 2 lengths. He has won a trial coming into this and looks a horse to keep firmly on side. St Edward also showed potential finishing second on debut and with improvement looks the danger.
NEXT BEST – Second best tip overnight
Race 4 Sunshine Coast 10.25 Contingency (best price 6/4)
I know CONTINGENCY may not have beaten much on debut but he still impressed with how strongly he ran on from off the pace and with that experience under his belt he can improve again and make it 2-2 against these. Cool Running is a decent yardstick and is probably the threat.
