The USA were excellent in beating Paraguay 4-1 and on home soil in Seattle I can’t see them losing to an Australia side that ground out a result against Turkey, so the win or draw is the anchor. The Aussies carry a threat from set pieces so both teams to score is in play. Scotland got off the mark with a win over Haiti but Morocco are a different proposition, the semi finalists from last time out, so I’m taking them with the win or draw safety net. Diaz pulls the strings for Morocco and should get his shots away, so 1+ on target makes sense. Robertson loves to get forward and have a dig for Scotland too, so a shot on target for him adds value, and with both sides carrying a threat I expect over 1.5 goals. 12/5 is a fair price on a Morocco side I expect to handle Scotland.
Brazil were held by Morocco in their opener and will be desperate to put on a show against Haiti, so over 2.5 goals is the anchor, I expect them to find their rhythm here. Haiti will be camped in their own half and that brings fouls and cards, so 2+ fouls for Nazon and a booking for Arcus both fit the way I see the game going. 17/2 is a big price but every leg is rooted in a Brazil side stepping it up against limited opponents. One for the night owls at 1:30am but worth it for the samba show.
One for the genuine early risers at 4am, but Turkey lost their opener to Australia and the dark horses will be desperate to get their tournament going against a Paraguay side that were beaten by the USA. I fancy Turkey to edge a controlled game, so the win and under 3.5 goals both fit. Guler is the jewel in their midfield and should get his shots away, so 1+ on target is a strong leg, while Alonso has plenty of defending to do so a foul is well within range. 4/1 with bet365 is cracking value on a Turkey side I expect to respond.
