Saturday’s acca is done and dusted, so I’ve gone around Europe for Sunday’s. Spreadex price this six-fold at 11.06/1, and the 20% boost for six legs takes it to 13.27/1, with the extra paid in cash.
I’ve got four home wins, one double chance and one goals market. The only Premier League leg is the big one at Anfield. Every leg is 1/10 or bigger, so the boost covers the whole acca.
Here’s my reasoning for each leg, in kick-off order, with the latest team news.
Southampton v Portsmouth tips
This is the south coast derby, so I know it won’t be a quiet afternoon. On form, though, there’s a big gap between these two. Southampton have won four of their eight Championship games and scored 19 goals, the kind of attack that should cause Pompey problems at St Mary’s.
Portsmouth are 19th with two wins from seven and nine goals scored, and their injury list is long. The last two meetings both finished level, which is the risk here, but Southampton at home with that firepower is a leg I’m happy to start the day with.
- Saints 19 goals in 8
- Pompey 19th
- Pompey 7 players out
Lazio v Monza tips
Gattuso has Lazio flying. They are third and unbeaten in the league, with wins over Bologna, Genoa, Udinese and Venezia and a 2-2 draw with Milan. They have conceded just three league goals all season.
Monza are 17th with one league win. They lost 4-1 to Inter and 3-2 at Lecce and have conceded 12 goals. Lazio beat them 5-1 the last time they met in Rome, and I can’t see them dropping points at home to a side this leaky.
- Lazio unbeaten in league
- 3 conceded
- Monza 12 conceded
Rennes v Auxerre tips
Rennes are fifth in Ligue 1 with ten points from their opening five games, and they won 3-0 at Auxerre last season.
Auxerre have lost three of their five league games and travel with a long absentee list, including Makosso through suspension. Rennes at home against a depleted side looks one of the stronger legs on the card.
- Rennes 5th
- Auxerre lost 3 of 5
- Auxerre 7 players out
Freiburg v Schalke tips
This is the strongest goals angle I’ve found this weekend. Six of Freiburg’s seven games have gone over 2.5, including every one at home. Schalke’s away games have all gone over as well.
Freiburg have taken 13 points from their last five, so they’ll want to attack, and Schalke have shown they can’t keep it tight on the road. I don’t need to pick a winner for this one to land.
- Freiburg overs 6 of 7
- Freiburg home overs 100%
- Schalke away overs 100%
Liverpool v Man City tips
City have won all five league games, top the table and have scored 13 goals. They also beat Liverpool 4-0 in the FA Cup in April and won 2-1 at Anfield in February.
Liverpool have kept three league clean sheets in a row, but they have only scored seven league goals, and they’re without Alexander Isak and Cody Gakpo. City are missing Phil Foden through suspension, but with the draw covered I’m happy to side with the in-form team.
- City W5 of 5
- Liverpool 7 league goals
- Isak and Gakpo out
Real Betis v Osasuna tips
Betis have won five of their seven games and kept four clean sheets. Osasuna have lost three and conceded 13, and they have a goal difference of minus seven.
Betis have won 14 of the 23 meetings between these two and beat Osasuna 2-0 at home last season. The one risk is rotation, with Betis in Champions League action three days later, but they have the depth to win this even with changes.
- Betis W5 of 7
- Betis 4 clean sheets
- Osasuna 13 conceded
My verdict
Lazio and Rennes at home are the two legs I’m most confident in. The Freiburg goals leg has the best stats behind it, and City double chance covers the draw in the biggest game of the day. At 13.27/1 with the boost, this is the acca I’m backing on Sunday.

What the boost is worth
How the Spreadex Acca Boost works
Spreadex add 5% to your winnings for a treble, rising by 5% for each extra leg up to 100% at 20 legs. Every selection must be 1/10 or bigger, and match odds, double chance, total goals, both teams to score, correct score and half-time markets all count. Free bets don’t qualify, and the boost is paid as cash when the bet settles.
