There are eight Premier League games on Saturday and I’ve picked six of them for my acca. Spreadex price this six-fold at 6.07/1 and the 20% boost for six legs takes it to 7.28/1, with the extra paid in cash.
I’ve gone with four home sides with the draw covered, plus goals at Stamford Bridge and the Etihad. Every leg is 1/10 or bigger, so the boost covers the whole acca.
Here’s my reasoning for each leg, in kick-off order, with the latest team news.
Chelsea v Man Utd tips
Chelsea scored in 17 of the two sides’ last 20 games, and Man Utd scored in 15 of them. Man Utd’s defence is in a bad way, conceding seven in their last two games after losing 4-1 at Como and 3-0 at home to Bournemouth.
Chelsea were beaten 2-0 by Spurs last weekend, but Palmer is available after serving his ban in the cup, and they are missing a host of defenders including Reece James. With both back lines this stretched, I expect goals at both ends.
- Chelsea scored 17 of 20
- Man Utd scored 15 of 20
- Man Utd 7 conceded in 2
Brentford v Forest tips
Brentford have scored in 13 games in a row, including six straight at home, and they beat Chelsea 3-0 at home in September.
Forest have won just once in their last 10 games and are without Igor Jesus up front. Brentford or the draw landed in 17 of the two sides’ last 20 games, which makes this one of the safest legs on the card.
- Brentford scored in 13 straight
- Forest 1 win in 10
- 17 of last 20 landed
Bournemouth v Leeds tips
Bournemouth have won five in a row in all competitions, including 3-0 wins over AC Milan, at Old Trafford and against Aston Villa in the Carabao Cup. They have scored in six in a row and are unbeaten in four at home.
Leeds have drawn their last two league games, 1-1 with Man Utd and 0-0 at Sunderland, and they have a long injury list. With the draw covered, this is my banker.
- Bournemouth won 5 in a row
- Bournemouth scored in 6 straight
- Leeds 1 goal in last 2
Hull v Ipswich tips
Hull are unbeaten in 10 home games and have drawn their last three at the MKM Stadium, most recently 1-1 with Brentford last weekend.
Ipswich have conceded in 21 consecutive Premier League away games and drew 1-1 with Forest last time out. These two promoted sides are level on points, and Hull’s home record makes them the side to side with.
- Hull unbeaten in 10 at home
- Ipswich conceded in 21 away
- Level on points
Man City v Brighton tips
City’s last seven games have all gone over 2.5 goals, including their last five at the Etihad, and they have scored in 15 home games in a row.
Brighton scored 23 goals in their first seven league games and still carry a threat, even after losing 2-0 at Liverpool last weekend. They are missing eight players, mostly attackers and midfielders, but City should do the damage at the other end.
- City over 2.5 7 in a row
- City home over 2.5 5 in a row
- City scored in 15 home straight
Aston Villa v Fulham tips
Villa have won three in a row, beating Man City 2-1, Viking 3-1 and Newcastle 1-0, and they are unbeaten in four at home. Emery rested almost his whole first team in the Carabao Cup on Wednesday, so they will be fresh.
Fulham have won just two of their last 10 away games and lost 1-0 at home to Palace in the cup in midweek. They are also without the suspended Sessegnon, so Villa with the draw covered rounds off the acca nicely.
- Villa won 3 in a row
- Villa unbeaten in 4 at home
- Fulham 2 wins in 10 away
My verdict
Bournemouth with the draw covered is my banker after five straight wins, and Hull’s 10-game unbeaten home run makes them hard to oppose. City’s run of seven straight overs makes the Etihad leg a strong one. At 7.28/1 with the boost, this is the acca I’m backing on Saturday.

What the boost is worth
How the Spreadex Acca Boost works
Spreadex add 5% to your winnings for a treble, rising by 5% for each extra leg up to 100% at 20 legs. Every selection must be 1/10 or bigger, and match odds, double chance, total goals, both teams to score, correct score and half-time markets all count. Free bets don’t qualify, and the boost is paid as cash when the bet settles.
