The Aussie NAP is on a FOUR-TIMER on Saturday and we head to Rosehill where there’s some top-class racing. We also have action from Caulfield, Morphettville, Toowoomba, Gold Coast and Belmont overnight Down Under.

THE AUSSIE NAP (BEST BET) WON AGAIN LAST NIGHT AND IS NOW CHASING A FOUR-TIMER!

Race 9 Rosehill 8.25 Masked Crusader (10/11)

Classy sort who has won three of his six starts to date; luckless in last two starts bumping into Varda at Randwick before being caught wide without cover here a fortnight ago; low draw and fitter now so hard to oppose.

The Aussie NAP fired in another winner on Friday as Lady Brahmos did the job at Sunshine Coast. That was three in a row so we’ll be looking to land the FOUR-TIMER early on Saturday. MASKED CRUSADER is undoubtedly a talented animal and he is one to keep on side. He has won three of his six starts and hasn’t had a great deal of luck the last twice. This is an obvious opportunity for him to get back on the up and I’ll be surprised if he’s beaten. No surprise to see him strong in the betting at a shade of odds-on at the time of writing. Rocha Clock is the closest in the betting and she does have conditions in favour so should run well. Prime Candidate may be the one to chase him home though.

Race 8 Caulfield 8.05 Russian Camelot (10/11)

Promising colt who like the NAP has won three of his six starts including two of his last three; denied just a head back from 4 months off the track when caught wide at Flemington latest; fitter now and clearly the one to beat.

Expecting big things from RUSSIAN CAMELOT so he will want to win this before going on to better things. There’s plenty of class about him and he should have too much for this field. Arcadia Queen is the obvious threat to the selection as she is going the right way and already has 6 wins to her name (from 11 attempts) which is pretty impressive. She bumped into Pretty Brazen when second last time and that’s good form. Mr Quickie is the each way angle as he has been running to a consistent level and will appreciate the trip. This has strength in depth with Harbour Views and The Chosen One hard to completely rule out either. All in all though the favourite does look a cut above.
