THE NAP (BEST BET) WON AGAIN YESTERDAY AND RUNS AT NEWCASTLE ON TUESDAY!
Newcastle 3.10 Taravara (9/4)
Promising colt by The Gurkha; needed the experience when down the field on debut at Doncaster but quickly improved to go close at Lingfield last month; can step forward again in the first-time blinkers; keep on side.
Another winning NAP on Monday as Moonlight In Paris finished best to win well at Wolverhampton. We’re going for a FOUR-TIMER on Tuesday and we head to Newcastle where TARAVARA looks set to make the breakthrough. The penny seemed to drop last time where he finished strongly to finish on the heels of the front pair. He is open to improvement and the blinkers should help to sharpen him up. There are a couple of interesting newcomers in here but he sets a good standard and looks a great bet at 9/4 to go one better. His experience should count for plenty. Counsel is beautifully bred and probably appeals most from the debutants. Law Of Nature is also feared if he improves.

Wolverhampton 5.00 Thai Terrier (10/3)
Back to something like his best when edged out by half a length at Leicester when last seen in August; lightly raced for his age so should build on that performance back on the AW where he has a good record; big chance.
We head to Wolverhampton for our second best bet of the day on Tuesday and THAI TERRIER should go close for Mark Johnston. This 4yo by Kitten’s Joy has two places efforts and a win on the AW and looks capable of better still. He was back to form last time and is going the right way. I was quite surprised to see him so big in the betting even though this is competitive as he looks the most likely winner. Figeac ran a creditable race when second at Kempton and must enter calculations but London Arch is probably the one I fear most. He was poor at Newcastle last time but is better than that and will appreciate stepping up to this trip I think. Manjaam is another to note but usually finds one too good.
