THE AUSSIE NAP (BEST BET) RUNS IN RACE 5 AT IPSWICH ON THURSDAY MORNING!
Race 5 Ipswich 4.22 Hallsidehankypanky (10/11)
Promising filly who has won twice and placed from three attempts over this trip; back to her best last time, winning impressively at Kilcoy; good draw to go forward early and rates the one they all have to beat in current form.
There’s a lot to like about the chances of HALLSIDEHANKYPANKY at Ipswich overnight. This filly is improving all the time and she has an impressive record with 3 wins from just 7 starts. She clearly goes really well over this trip having won 2 from 3 and was much the best last time. With further gains a distinct possibility she is clearly the one to beat in this race. Iced looks the danger and that’s very much reflected in the betting. He has more experience than the selection but only has 3 wins from 16 starts. He is a very consistent sort who should run his race but I think the favourite can improve past him especially over this trip. I’ll be surprised if any of the others prove good enough as it lacks depth.

THE AUSSIE NEXT BEST (SECOND BEST BET) RUNS IN RACE 1 AT WAGGA ON THURSDAY!
Race 1 Wagga 2.20 Delacour (5/4)
Good looking chestnut who landed the hat-trick at Moruya when last seen in October, showing a good attitude to prevail by a head; not seen for 3 months but goes well fresh and with the promise of more to come should be winning this.
It’s hard to look past DELACOUR here as she is a filly firmly on the upgrade. She has won her last 3 and has potential to do better still. This looks a good starting point and I’ll be very surprised if she doesn’t take full advantage for Brendan Ward and Norm Gardner. Bellarina Magic has won twice over this trip so has to be respected and looks the one to step forward as the main danger to the selection. Nobody’s Puppet hasn’t been seen for 6 months and usually needs the run so is short enough in the betting at around 4/1. Corazon De Oro may be the value to hit the frame as she will strip fitter from her comeback run when third at Albury, only beaten narrowly.
Autralian Daily Double
The Australian Daily Double consists of both the NAP and NB and is a great way of covering our two best bets of the night to maximise profit. They run at Wagga and Ipswich in the early hours of Thursday morning.
