Race 7 Wagga 5.45 To The Nines (1/1)

Exciting type who made the perfect start at Canberra powering through testing conditions to win impressively; sure to improve and taken to overcome a tricky draw and make it 2-2 here; one to keep on side.

This looks a good opportunity for TO THE NINES to remain unbeaten. He really impressed on debut showing a taking turn of foot to win easily. He’ll be encountering a quicker surface here but that shouldn’t faze him and he looks a cut above these off the back of that debut promise. Landmine has been running to a consistent level and is definitely a danger from a low gate. Granted luck in-running the favourite should have too much though. Lennox Road also brings winning form to the table and he looks capable of more but he has just 3 wins from 29 starts so is a bit exposed in comparison to the selection. It’s 10/1 bar the rest in a race that lacks any real strength in depth.

Race 4 Caulfield 3.55 Frost Flowers (11/8)

Promising filly who made a winning start at Flemington at the start of this month; tracked the speed through and quickly put the race to bed so a lot to like about that; good draw and extremely hard to get away from again.

We head to Caulfield in the early hours of Tuesday morning for our second best bet Down Under and FROST FLOWERS looks a good bet to remain unbeaten. She was always moving sweetly on debut just tracking them through and quickly took it up and settled it when asked. She certainly has gears and will have too much for these with further improvement on the cards. Dosh also made a winning start but she didn’t look the most straightforward. Clearly talented but needs more to give the favourite a race. Saasmit also won on debut but this looks a great deal tougher so she’ll need to take a chunk of improvement to win this and remain unbeaten. Nothing else looks good enough to take a hand.
