Smart mare who has won 5 from 10 starts and just keeps getting better; won 4 of her last 5 now and ran on strongly from off the pace to win convincingly last time; more to come and looks well placed to go in again.

The Aussie NAP had won four times in a row prior to getting beat the last twice. Hopefully we can bounce back overnight as we head to Morphettville for our best bet. TRALEE ROSE is thriving and she looks the one they all have to beat. She did it impressively last time and it’s hard to see how she gets beat here. She’s already a shade of odds-on and should have plenty of supporters come post time. The hat-trick seeking Starcaster looks the danger. He has won 5 times from 25 starts and some of his form stacks up so if the favourite does disappoint he looks the threat. Long Arm is unexposed and is a good looking sort who is capable of better but needs more to beat the favourite.

Race 6 Canberra 5.25 Equation (11/10)

Promising colt who completed the hat-trick at Canterbury last time, firmly in control in the closing stages; steps up in trip now which should unlock further improvement so expected to have too much for these; keep safe.

The improving EQUATION is expected to go in again. He is looking to make it 4 in a row and the extra yardage looks firmly in his favour. There are some good sorts lining up here I’ll admit but he has the most potential going forward I think. Molly Nails is chasing a hat-trick and she will be a filly to keep on side in the future but this is a tough enough test for her at this stage of her career. High Supremacy should improve but will need to as that last run is nowhere near good enough granted slowly away. It’s 12/1 bar the rest and hard to see anything else getting involved but I suppose Black Duke might be a bit overpriced. He has a wide draw which makes life tougher but he has some decent form.
