THE AUSSIE NAP (BEST BET) RUNS IN RACE 4 AT HAWKESBURY ON TUESDAY MORNING!
Race 4 Hawkesbury 5.05 Captivare (5/4)
Big eye-catcher when running on strongly from midfield to finish just a nose second at Kembla Grange last month, crowded late; improving all the time and the extra yardage firmly in his favour no so with usual luck should open his account.
The money was down for CAPTIVARE last time and with a clear run he would have won. He started a bit awkwardly out the gate but was held onto before picking his way through. He had to be held up in the straight before thundering home but the gaps closed late and he was crowded out eventually going down the smallest of margins by a nose at the line. He goes up in trip now and despite the wide draw I think he has a massive chance of finally making the breakthrough. Tommy Berry is back on and that’s a big plus. Quiet Michael is the obvious danger and the betting certainly suggests that. He lacks experience though and while he ran well last time the selection might always have his measure.

Race 9 Warrnambool 7.00 La Vina (5/2)
Good looking mare who already has 3 wins on the board and was a stylish winner when last seen sweeping home at Ballarat to win well; 2 from 3 over this trip and goes well fresh so lots to like as she bids to follow up.
We head to Warrnambool overnight Down Under for our second best bet and LA VINA looks hard to oppose in the penultimate race on the card. This mare still has scope to improve and if she does then quite simply she will prove a cut above these. She goes well fresh and capped off a good season with a convincing win at Ballarat. First try at this track but I think it’ll suit and she should be favourite for me over Realeza. The latter is 3 from 5 coming into this and has that flashy profile but she lacks experience and could only finish third on her sole start at this track. She is improving though and has to be feared. The pair should battle it out but ready preference is for the promising La Vina.

The Australian Daily Double consists of both the NAP and NB and is a great way of covering our two best bets of the night to maximise profit. They run at Hawkesbury and Warrnambool in the early hours of Tuesday morning.
