NAP – Best selection of the evening
THE AUSSIE NAP (BEST BET) RUNS IN RACE 5 AT SWAN HILL ON FRIDAY MORNING!
Race 5 Swan Hill 5.35 St Arnicca (1/1)
Useful type who comes here with the best form in the race; won convincingly at Geelong before running creditably in defeat at Sandown last time; ticks plenty of boxes and looks the most likely winner.
It’s hard to look past the favourite ST ARNICCA in Race 5 at Swan Hill overnight. I know he only has 2 wins from 17 starts but he has 7 placed efforts to go along with that and has the strongest recent form on offer. Just Rolling does bring winning form to the table but the fav has achieved more and is relatively unexposed in comparison. The front pair looks a little way clear but that being said Zancada is consistent enough to run into the frame so has to be respected as well. Cape Mount has the ability to get involved but recent form means questions have to be answered. Similar story for Queen Guinevere as well to be honest. I think the market has this one spot on and the fav will take a lot of beating.

THE AUSSIE NEXT BEST (SECOND BEST BET) RUNS IN RACE 2 AT WAGGA OVERNIGHT!
Race 2 Wagga 3.05 Kitzbuhel (5/4)
Promising sort who shaped with encouragement on return when fourth over shorter here last month and quickly improved on that over track and trip to get back to winning ways last time; plenty going for him.
Horses for courses! KITZBUHEL won well over track and trip last time and looks well placed to back that up. His overall profile is convincing and he looks capable of better yet so gets a confident vote to come out on top. Newtown Bluebag began awkwardly last time and is better than that so has to be considered. He’ll be trying to finish late. Girls Are Ready has 4 wins to her name but that’s from 25 starts so while she has good form her latest efforts haven’t been all that encouraging so the fav looks to have her measure. Think More won at Echuca last time but this looks tougher against a relatively unexposed type in the favourite. Not a great deal of strength in depth past those mentioned.

The Australian Daily Double consists of both the NAP and NB and is a great way of covering our two best bets of the night to maximise profit. They run at Wagga and Swan Hill in the early hours of Friday morning.
