NAP – Best selection of the evening
THE AUSSIE NAP (BEST BET) RUNS IN RACE 2 AT SCONE ON MONDAY MORNING!
Race 2 Scone 4.50 Poseidon Ruler (4/5)
Improving all the time and ran another good race when third at Dubbo last time; steps up in trip and won’t need to find much more progress to open his account; looks to have an obvious chance here of coming out on top.
I think POSEIDON RULER will push forward here and if he does he might not come back to them. He has the best form in the book and he won’t get many better chances to make the breakthrough. The Aussie NAP landed last night so hopefully we can follow up. El Super makes his debut but is going to need to be plenty forward to get the better of this fav from a likely unpromising position. River Tycoon ran well when second at Wyong but failed to back that up last time finishing last and has a bit to prove off the back of that. If he bounces back he could be the danger. Apache Doc hasn’t shown a great deal and will need more to get involved here. Hard to see anything else proving good enough.

THE AUSSIE NB (SECOND BEST BET) RUNS IN RACE 4 AT COROWA OVERNIGHT!
Race 4 Corowa 5.40 Bell’s Innocent (5/4)
Talented sort who has 5 wins from 19 starts and left reappearance run well behind finishing second at Goulburn last time; can build on that again and looks well placed to get himself back in the winners enclosure.
Given BELL’S INNOCENT has won third up in the past I’m expecting him to be hitting peak fitness now. That was a good effort last time and he won’t need much more to return to winning ways here. Ghost Doctor is exposed in comparison but does have 9 wins to his name so he has to be feared. Willybeafactor has 4 wins to his name and is also worth a second look but I just don’t think he is running well enough to upset this favourite. Obelos has some good form in the book but is badly out of sorts so if you’re backing him you are taking a big chance. It wouldn’t surprise me to see Boogie Woogie run well and he might be the value to run into a place late on. Not a great race and the fav should be too good.

The Australian Daily Double consists of both the NAP and NB and is a great way of covering our two best bets of the night to maximise profit. They run at Scone and Corowa in the early hours of Sunday morning.
