THE AUSSIE NAP (BEST BET) RUNS IN RACE 4 AT NORTHAM ON THURSDAY MORNING!
Race 4 Northam 8.13 Talkaboutyou (4/5)
Good looking sort who shaped with plenty of encouragement when beaten just a length on debut at Ascot; given plenty of time since but won a trial and looks to have the most potential in this field; big chance now.
Despite a wide gate I think TALKABOUTYOU is going to take a lot of beating here. He is a speedy sort and I think he’ll push forward and secure the lead. If he does he could gallop these into submission under Parnham. In my eyes this is just a two-horse race so if he gets first run on Agent Kensington I don’t think that filly will be able to peg him back. His debut run was encouraging and he won a Belmont trial so should be fit enough to do himself justice. Agent Kensington was a good second last time and she also has more to come so looks the danger. Overall record of 0/14 is concerning though and she just looks to be bumping into one here. Hot Tonic best of the rest with more to come.

THE AUSSIE NB (SECOND BEST BET) RUNS IN RACE 2 AT WYONG ON THURSDAY!
Race 2 Wyong 4.00 Mister Ripley (11/8)
Likeable type who gets in well at the weights with the apprentice claiming 3kg; knocked on the door the last twice and won’t need much more to get off the mark here as this looks a really winnable race; obvious shout.
We head over to Wyong on Thursday morning for our second best bet Down Under and MISTER RIPLEY can finally open his account. He has 7 placed efforts on his record now and has gone close the last twice. If he runs to that sort of level again it might be enough here as this looks weak. River Tycoon is 0/7 and did run well on penultimate start but that last run was poor finishing last and he has enough to prove now. If he bounces back he is probably the one to give the fav a race though. Sombre Prize is 0/19 and has just 3 seconds from that. Needs more but then has finished runner-up the last twice so is running better than he has done previously. Needs more on the balance of his form.
