THE AUSSIE NAP (BEST BET) RUNS IN RACE 3 AT MORPHETTVILLE ON FRIDAY MORNING!
Race 3 Morphettville 4.55 Zoist (6/5)
Good looking chestnut who has already won 3 times and did well to get as close as he did when second over shorter here last time; back up in trip and he is 3 from 4 over this distance so lots to like; should win.
This looks a great opportunity for ZOIST to resume the winning groove. He has a progressive look to his form overall with 3 wins from 7 starts. This trip is the key to him as he has won 3 from 4 over it and clearly goes well at this track. Likely to push forward and going to take all the beating. Going Gaga is a big danger on exposed form with 9 wins from 48 starts but he is vulnerable to an improver and the favourite certainly fits the bill. Still expect him to run well though and should be thereabouts. Poysed To Rein has 4 wins from 16 starts and she is a decent mare. This is quite tough and she did finish second last at Gawler so comes here with enough to prove but if she bounces back she has a squeak.

Race 8 Goulburn 7.10 Nicci’s Song (5/4)
Promising filly who has a touch of class about her; things didn’t go to plan at Canberra last time but she impressed winning at Albury before that and scope to improve again so one to keep firmly on side today and going forward.
I’m happy to forgive NICCI’S SONG that last run where she failed to fire. If she resumes her progression I think she’ll be too classy for these. She has 3 wins from 7 starts but has the scope to kick on again and she is hard to oppose here. Noble Soldier arrives in good form off the back of an encouraging second on return at Nowra. Should strip fitter and looks the main danger to the favourite. Superior Witness is in good from with a win at Muswellbrook on return and then a good second to Pleading last time. That form gives her a good chance of running a big race but might be vulnerable for win purposes. Art Of Excellence is exposed in comparison with 6 wins from 40 starts but could run okay.
