Race 4 Port Augusta 6.30 Domination (1/1)

Talented sort who has won his last 3 over track and trip and overall record now reads 11 wins from 56 starts with 14 placed efforts; thriving right now and hard to oppose again if turning up in the same form; obvious chance.

The class act of the race is DOMINATION and I think he’ll gallop these into submission again here. He has won his last 3 over C&D and I see no reason why he won’t stretch that winning run to 4 here. He has such a likeable way of going and has a class edge on these. Brazilliant won here last month but has been beaten twice since and has enough to find. The Raven brings winning form to the table but this requires more. I do think he is the main danger to the favourite though with confidence high. Regina Del Dramma is relatively unexposed so could have more to offer but that last run was poor and she has enough to prove off the back of that. Similar comments apply to Ambertone.

Race 7 Sandown 6.45 Mr Brightside (13/8)

Likeable type who built on a couple of encouraging efforts to win readily at Geelong last time; clearly trending the right way now and with further improvement to come he looks well placed to follow up before going on to better things.

Parisian Dancer should push forward and that can give MR BRIGHTSIDE a good target to aim at. He impressed shedding the maiden-tag at Geelong last time and with further progress to come now he should be too good for this field. Saint Of Katowice is in good order winning at Cranbourne last time but he is up against an unexposed rival in the fav and I’ll be surprised if he doesn’t improve past him having had 3 starts compared to Saint Of Katowice’s 13 (resulting in just 3 wins). Unfair Dismissal is exposed but is in good form so should run his consistent race again – may well place. Parisian Dancer won at Ballarat and might be the biggest threat to the selection as she also has room to keep improving.
