THE AUSSIE NAP (BEST BET) WON AGAIN OVERNIGHT AND IS CHASING A HAT-TRICK!
Race 3 Moonee Valley 5.05 Corner Pocket (6/4)
Smart type who has won 6 of his 8 starts and justified favouritism again at Caulfield last time, winning convincingly; open to further improvement and looks well placed to go in again; one to keep firmly on side.
This looks all about CORNER POCKET and I’ll be surprised if he is beaten. He keeps getting better and while this is tougher he looks the most likely winner again. Connections will be hoping he takes this before going on to better things in time. Front Page is promising himself winning 4 from 7 and should be fit off the back of a trial win. Looks the biggest threat to the favourite. Ocular has some useful form in the book but is just 4 from 18 so is exposed in comparison to the front two in the market. Mystery Shot and Yulong Storm would have chances in a normal race but this looks too hot. Hard to see anything else at bigger prices getting involved.
rNB – Second best selection of the day
THE AUSSIE NB (SECOND BEST BET) WON LAST NIGHT AND RUNS AT RANDWICK!
Race 4 Royal Randwick 4.10 Loveplanet (13/8)
Improving with experience and relish the step up to this trip winning at Moonee Valley back in December; followed that up with a win at Sandown and a good third at Randwick since; building a nice profile and hard to oppose.
With 3 wins from just 5 starts LOVEPLANET can prove too good for these. He was only beaten a length into third at Randwick last time and with more to come can take care of these. He is 1-1 over this trip and he should relish the extra yardage again here. Stablemate Re Edit has been running well and is also entitled to get involved. At a bigger price Papal Warrior landed back-to-back wins at Rosehill and didn’t run badly at Randwick on penultimate start but was a bit flat last time. If bouncing back he could snatch a place and looks good odds to do so as well. Not much strength in depth here so nothing much else appeals but I guess Badoosh deserves a second look if putting his best foot forward.

The Australian Daily Double consists of both the NAP and NB and is a great way of covering our two best bets of the night to maximise profit. They run at Randwick and Moonee Valley in the early hours of Saturday morning.
