NAP – Best selection of the evening
THE AUSSIE NAP (BEST BET) RUNS IN RACE 5 AT BATHURST ON FRIDAY MORNING!
Race 5 Bathurst 5.24 Ang Pow (10/11)
Exciting youngster who is a perfect 2-2 after winning on debut at Tamworth and then backing that up impressively again over C&D last month; sure to keep improving and looks well placed to remain unbeaten and make it 3-3.
I put forward ANG POW last week but he was scratched sadly. Hopefully he takes his chance here as if he does I think he’ll win again and make it a perfect 3-3. He has been impressive on both starts to date and still looks far from the finished article so with further improvement to come he can take care of these. Chevconi has 2 wins from 7 starts and was back in the winners enclosure at Narromine last month so looks the one most likely to give the favourite a race. Witness Collector is exposed in comparison to the fav but does have 4 wins to his name so also has to be respected. Of the rest Emeriz is still relatively unexposed and could run well without quite being good enough.

THE AUSSIE NB (SECOND BEST BET) RUNS IN RACE 4 AT PAKENHAM OVERNIGHT!
Race 4 Pakenham 8.45 Salto Angel (10/11)
Likeable mare who deserves to get her head in front after some really good efforts; needs to put that Flemington run behind her but had excuses and looks a leading player in this field; worth chancing against these.
Given SALTO ANGEL has been mixing it in much better company than this she can finally get her head in front at Pakenham on Friday morning. She needs to put that run behind her last time but is definitely better than that and in calmer waters can make her mark. Paris Shiraz hasn’t shown a great deal in 6 runs to date but did shape better when third at Geelong so could go well. Royal Rift is a good looking filly who has only had two starts so could improve. She is the one I think might give the favourite most to think about. Of those at the bigger prices Always Definite has gone close a few times and did so on penultimate start. Like the fav needs to put a poor run last time behind her to figure.

The Australian Daily Double consists of both the NAP and NB and is a great way of covering our two best bets of the night to maximise profit. They run at Bathurst and Pakenham in the early hours of Friday morning.
