THE AUSSIE NAP (BEST BET) RUNS IN RACE 3 AT MORPHETTVILLE ON SATURDAY!

Race 3 Morphettville 4.11 Star Of Chaos (10/11)

Exciting filly who has won 2 of her last 3 and showed a good attitude to prevail at Geelong last month having always dictated; more to come for sure and with a rail draw she could easily make all again; one to keep safe.

With 2 wins from just 4 starts STAR OF CHAOS can win again. She is learning on the job but proved too strong last time under positive tactics and from the box seat I expect her to push forward again. If she gets on the front and dictates the fractions I don’t see anything good enough in here to peg her back. Mona Dream has ability but she is just 2 wins from 7 starts and on what we’ve seen she needs more to trouble this favourite. Montepulciano has an even worse record with just the 1 win from 10 attempts. Some of his form stacks up but he needs more especially off the back of a poor run here last time. Artful Libby might be a bit overpriced. She’s on a hat-trick and is still unexposed.

Race 3 Royal Randwick 3.40 Able Willie (6/5)

Promising type who made a perfect start running on strongly from midfield to win convincingly over track and trip last month; bags of potential and looks well placed to remain unbeaten before going on to better things.

I’ll be surprised if ABLE WILLIE doesn’t make it 2-2 at Randwick on Saturday. He is a horse going places judging by that debut win and connections clearly think he could be quite smart. He looks a cut above this field and even at the time of writing his price is collapsing so he should go off odds-on. Mazu has just the 1 win from 5 starts but he is a colt with potential as well and he should keep this favourite honest at least. Probably got racing too early last time and is better than that. Zarastro is the dark horse in here after an encouraging second on debut. If he improves he might be better value to finish second. Battleton is a perfect 2-2 but this is notably harder and he needs much more now.
