Race 2 Canterbury Park 4.35 Norwegian Bliss (1/1)

Unbeaten mare who made it a perfect 2-2 at Newcastle last time, relishing the step up in trip to win by 4 lengths at the line; only going to improve again and should win this before going on to better things in time; keep safe.

There was lots to like about the way NORWEGIAN BLISS won on debut so it was no surprise to see her race forward and make all impressively at Newcastle last time. She is a mare progressing fast and with more to come she gets a confident vote to bring up the hat-trick. She still looks a little rough around the edges so no surprise they are keeping her busy. She could win some nice prizes in time I think. Lady Of Luxury is a decent yardstick so no surprise to see her second fav in the betting here. She does only have 1 win from 13 starts to her name though with 6 runner-up efforts and might be playing second fiddle again. Sur La Mer is unexposed and could have more to come so noted too.

Race 6 Ipswich 7.30 Festival Prince (1/1)

Talented sort who has won 3 in a row since finishing down the field on debut; getting better with experience and more to come yet so big chance of going in again from an inside gate; worth chancing against these.

This looks all about FESTIVAL PRINCE and I think he can make it 4 wins from just 5 starts here. He gets the 3kg claim and an inside barrier so there is lots to like again. Go Deep is exposed in comparison but does have 3 wins from 29 starts including 6 placed efforts so has to be respected. Only midfield at Ipswich last time though and going to need more on that to get competitive. Belle’s Pluck has a more appealing profile to me and he could be a greater danger. He should strip fitter again and can run a good race. Eskdale Girl is very consistent but she is vulnerable to an improver and the favourite fits the bill. Moscini was a good third at Sunshine Coast only beaten a couple of lengths but this looks tougher.
