NAP – Best selection of the evening
THE AUSSIE NAP (BEST BET) RUNS IN RACE 4 AT BATHURST ON MONDAY!
Race 4 Bathurst 4.40 Wolf Queen (5/4)
Promising filly who was well backed on debut and ran well denied just half a length; sure to improve off the back of that initial effort and if she does she looks well placed to make the breakthrough; worth keeping safe.
Quite a few runners in here but WOLF QUEEN looks a standout to me. She went down just half a length on debut at Mudgee and is expected to be a lot wiser for the experience. Not many of these have shown much so she is by far and away the most likely winner. Joyzel ran better on debut than she did last time so she needs to bounce back for me to land a blow on this jolly. Squiggles has had 3 chances already and finished last at Hawkesbury when last seen in the summer. Given time since she can do better but there is a lot to be taken on trust and she wouldn’t be for me. Arimathea is 0/7 but did at least run better when third at Dubbo and if she can build on that she should run into the frame again.

THE AUSSIE NB (SECOND BEST BET) RUNS IN RACE 5 AT TAMWORTH ON MONDAY!
Race 5 Tamworth 5.05 Castlebar Road (6/4)
Likeable type who landed back-to-back wins at Dubbo before being edged out last time; still has plenty of upsides and this looks a good opportunity for him to get back into the winners enclosure; sure to go well.
This might not take a great deal of winning so that gives CASTLEBAR ROAD leading claims. His recent form is very solid in a race like this with 2 wins and a close second and he won’t need much more to make that 3 from his last 4. He likes to push forward so he should get over from a wide gate and with a bit of luck will take a lot of pegging back. Kanalaide scored at Tamworth before running a stinker at Eagle Farm. If he is fit on return he could run well but I’d have my reservations for win purposes. Unrestricted is 3 from 18 but still has to be respected on exposed form. He did disappoint at Mudgee though so a bounce back is called for. Remorseless remains unexposed so is best of the rest.

The Australian Daily Double consists of both the NAP and NB and is a great way of covering our two best bets of the night to maximise profit. They run at Bathurst and Tamworth in the early hours of Monday morning.
