THE AUSSIE NAP (BEST BET) RUNS IN RACE 4 AT TAMWORTH ON MONDAY MORNING!
Race 4 Tamworth 4.55 Holy Tycoon (5/4)
Good looking chestnut filly who made the breakthrough impressively at Port Macquarie last month; hit the line well on top and sure to improve from that; hard to oppose with a nice run from the inside stall.
This definitely requires another step up but I’m confident HOLY TYCOON can handle it. She is clearly improving and impressed at Port Macquarie last time. With scope for further improvement and an inside draw to boot I think this is set up for her to follow up. She is a short enough price but that looks with good reason. Exolay has a similar profile and looks the danger. She has been knocking on the door recently and should keep the favourite honest. Dancing Dollar ran better than she did at Taree when third at Newcastle last month and also has to enter the reckoning. I think she’ll need more to live with the front pair though and is best watched for now. Hammoon Jig comfortably best of the rest.

THE AUSSIE NB (SECOND BEST BET) WON ON SATURDAY AND RUNS AT TERANG!
Race 8 Terang 6.00 Penfriend (7/4)
Likeable mare who needed the experience on debut but left that behind on return to win at Terang last month; backed that up with a good third at Ballarat last time and capable of better again so leading claims here.
This looks a great chance for PENFRIEND to get herself back in the winners enclosure. She impressed winning at Terang and backed that up with a good third at Ballarat last time. She certainly has more to come and can beat this field. Last time out winner Sword Of War looks the danger. He scored at Ararat last time and if he builds on that he should fight it out with the selection. Thought Provoking looks a promising mare after winning at Warrnambool and she also has a future but she might need more experience as this definitely looks tougher. Regal Effort also has claims but again this looks a better race than what he has been contesting so he is going to need to find more to challenge.
