Race 7 Caulfield 7.15 Belle Savoir (5/4)

Unbeaten filly who overcame inexperience to make a winning debut at Ballarat and then backed that up improving again to win at Sandown last month; more to come yet and can bring up the hat-trick here.

This is a good race but BELLE SAVOIR looks to bring the most potential to the table. She is unbeaten and has plenty more to come yet. She impressed at Sandown and with natural improvement should prove hard to beat here. Arktika won her first two starts before struggling at Flemington last time. If she can bounce back she is the one I expect to finish second to the favourite. Sonora is on a roll winning her last two but this is obviously much deeper so she’ll need to continue her improvement. Botany made a perfect start winning on debut at Bairnsdale and should go well but will likely struggle up against these. Tilianam best of the rest and has a squeak if the blinkers help her to improve further.

Race 3 Morphettville 4.52 Elite Icon (11/8)

Good looking chestnut who has won 2 of his last 4 starts and justified good support to win last time; form stacks up and with more to come from an inside gate can get these all at it; comfortably most likely winner.

I’m struggling to look past ELITE ICON as he bids to make it 3 wins from 5 starts. He is progressive and his form is hard to question. He has a perfect draw up the inside and should push forward and look to leave them standing. Libiamo is a nice filly in the making but she did disappoint last time. If she bounces back she could run well and I think she might be one to be interested in going forward but enough to prove on the day. Valuable Witness is 2 from 3 and could go better than his odds suggest but again might just be bumping into one in the shape of the selection. Daring Move has a similar profile to the latter but will almost certainly need to improve a chunk again to spring an upset here.
