NAP – Best tip overnight
THE AUSTRALIAN NAP RUNS IN RACE 5 AT MOUNT GAMBIER ON WEDNESDAY!
Race 5 Mount Gambier 7.10 Eagles Forever (11/8)
Likeable type who has won his last two including at this track last time and while this is tougher he is clearly going the right way and has a perfect inside draw to try and make all; worth keeping on side again here.
I’m sticking with EAGLES FOREVER to bring up the hat-trick! He has only won them by small margins but showed a good attitude to prevail last time and while this is tougher he is improving and gets a perfect draw too. He will go forward and look to hold them all off late. Lacrima looks the danger as she had excuses last time and her form prior to that is solid so she will run her race. Melissa Kate is another one worth a mention as she is fairly consistent in the main but she has only won twice from 29 attempts so will surely be vulnerable for win purposes at least. Honour De Hero won on penultimate start but was beaten last time and needs more to upset the selection.

Race 4 Ipswich 5.18 Think Glory (13/8)
Promising mare who did well last campaign and returned with an eye-catching run to finish fourth at Doomben last time; sure to come on fitness-wise and with further progress to come can take this out.
We head to Ipswich overnight for our second best bet Down Under and THINK GLORY can get back to winning ways. She raced a bit keen when fourth on return but it was an encouraging run and if she comes on again she should be a danger to all in here. She is 2 from 3 at this track and has plenty in favour. Seleque looks the danger but she is now 0/6 over the trip so that would have to be a worry. She is a fair yardstick though so still respected. Petunia is the other one that needs mentioning as she has won twice over the trip including once here. I’m not too bothered about the rest but Khaalis remains fairly unexposed so might improve enough to get involved for a place.
