Race 3 Belmont 6.10 Vampi At Play (6/4)
Promising filly who hasn’t done much wrong in 3 starts to date; second at Ascot on debut and then runner-up here twice; further improvement to come and obvious chance of making the breakthrough now.
Good chance for VAMPI AT PLAY to salute the judge! She has been threatening and won’t need to find much more improvement to take this out. I’m hoping she’ll be ridden a little more prominently here as I thought she had enough ground to make up last time. Sentimental Belle is on debut and if she is forward enough she will be the danger. The market should be informative to her chance and at the time of writing she hasn’t been too heavily supported. Magnaburma shaped with potential on debut and has to be considered as well but he will need to improve a fair bit to live with this favourite I think. Mojo’s Luck has potential but will need more time and experience judging on his debut run.

Race 6 Sandown 6.20 Silent Surrente (5/2)
Smart filly who is a perfect 2-2 after winning both starts at Ballarat; well backed last time and too strong for them; further improvement to come and looks a good bet to remain unbeaten here; keep on side.
This is quite competitive but 2/1 about the unbeaten SILENT SURRENTE looks a decent play. She has impressed on both starts to date and still looks to be learning her trade so with more to come can bring up the hat-trick. Mere Fancy has won 2 of her last 3 so has to be one of the dangers. Hollywood Siren won at Mornington but this looks tougher so while she has potential she likely needs to find more. Elarski has been running to a consistent level and has to enter calculations. Jenniferenti won at Swan Hill but like the latter this definitely has more strength in depth. Shalily is yet to score but has been knocking on the door so should be winning soon but this is quite a tough ask again.
