MY AUSTRALIAN NAP RUNS IN RACE 2 AT KILCOY ON TUESDAY MORNING!
Race 2 Kilcoy 4.47 Vitae (10/11)
Improving mare who has won 2 of her last 3 and showed a great attitude to prevail by a head last time, fitter from her reappearance run; further progress on the cards and well placed to go in again here.
With further fitness on side VITAE should be tough to beat at Kilcoy in the early hours of Tuesday morning. She is clearly a mare trending the right way and this might not take a great deal of winning. Lexington Lad was a good second at Toowoomba last time and a repeat of that sort of form would see him emerge as the danger to the favourite. Luvyouanytime was only midfield here last time and needs to find more to mix it with the front pair. Persian Front is exposed compared to those mentioned but did at least run better than he has been when third at Goondiwindi. The rest are all double-figure odds and they have their work cutout to try and get involved here.

Race 6 Taree 6.55 Denetta (15/8)
Good looking filly who has won 3 from 5 starts and is a perfect 3-3 over this trip; really taken her form up a notch lately and ran on well from off the pace to win again last time; good draw and hard to beat again.
This definitely revolves around DENETTA as she bids to bring up the four-timer. I’m surprised she is nearly 2/1 in the betting as she looks to have the most potential in this field. Impact Star has run well the last twice and likely still has more to come so could loom as the danger. My Girona won at Grafton last time but this does look tougher so she’l need more especially against this unexposed favourite. Gobbled won at Armidale but disappointed a touch at Grafton so needs more to mix it with the market principals here. Nothing much else appeals but perhaps My One could run a nice race if bouncing back from that poor run at Scone last time. She won prior to that.
