MY AUSTRALIAN NAP WON AGAIN AND IS ON A HAT-TRICK ON WEDNESDAY!
Race 6 Belmont 8.40 Zero Consequences (6/5)
Improving type who looked good winning at Northam last month; slow start proved costly when beaten narrowly here last time; open to further progress and this looks a good opportunity for him to get back on track.
There is lots to like about the chances of ZERO CONSEQUENCES at Belmont on Wednesday morning. He impressed winning at Northam and then a slow start cost him here last time. He finished well but just had too much ground to make up. This looks easier and I think he can justify favouritism. Mong Khon has some decent form in the book but he only has the 2 wins from 28 starts so I’ll be surprised if he does beat the selection. Probably go well for a long way though so still might be the one to finish second. Inahappydaze is 1 from 15 but at least she is a little more unexposed. She has been running to a consistent level as well so is unlikely to be far away again here.

Race 6 Cranbourne 6.20 Secret Palace (6/4)
Likeable mare who has won 2 of her last 3 and showed a great attitude to prevail at Sandown last time; scope to keep improving especially stepping up to this trip for the first time now; one to keep safe for sure.
With progressive form in recent starts the likeable SECRET PALACE can win again. She should do better as her stamina is drawn out and is comfortably the most likely winner in this field. Project Gutenberg only has the 1 win to his name but he should keep improving over this trip so does look the danger. Secret Sheema has already won over this trip so she has to be feared too but she was poor at Sandown last time and that leaves her with ground to make up. Raid The Bar is a useful yardstick but again he disappointed when nearer last than first at Cranbourne so enough to prove on the balance of his form and not the most consistent either. The rest all look to be pretty limited on what we’ve seen so far.
