MY AUSTRALIAN NAP RUNS IN RACE 1 AT PAKENHAM ON MONDAY MORNING!
Race 1 Pakenham 3.30 Ameerati (1/1)
Good looking chestnut filly who definitely needed the experience when down the field in a good race at Caulfield on debut; left that behind to go close over shorter here last time; more to come up in trip and should win.
This looks a great opportunity for AMEERATI to make the breakthrough. She was chucked into the deep end to some extent when down the field at Caulfield but that experience wasn’t lost on her as she improved to go close last time. She missed out to Sycorax who had more experience on side and is also a nice prospect. The selection should improve again and she looks the most likely winner in here as the betting is suggesting. Laurie Blue bounced back from a poor run at Flemington to finish third here last time and could be the danger. Perfectly Timed still has potential after just the 5 starts and she might fare best of the rest. Rocket Boy likely has a bright future but his debut run was pretty flat.

Race 4 Lismore 5.25 Inclusion (6/4)
Caught the eye only beaten 2 lengths at Ipswich last time despite having began awkwardly; missed just a head prior to that as well so if he improves again he should have too many gears for this field.
With just the 3 meetings overnight in Australia on Monday there isn’t many decent betting opportunities. INCLUSION is 0/13 but he continues to knock on the door and this is desperately weak to me. If he finds even a little improvement he should have too much for these rivals. Captain Underpants has finished second last and last in two runs to date and he is second favourite so that says a lot about the lack of quality on show here. He will likely step forward this campaign but definitely needs to and is hard to recommend on what we’ve seen on the track. Over The Falls might be a bit of value to rattle the frame as he has been fairly consistent and is also open to improvement still as well.
