MY AUSTRALIAN NAP WON AGAIN OVERNIGHT AND IS ON A HAT-TRICK NOW!
Race 7 Wagga 7.40 Magnetic (6/4)
Likeable type who was in great form prior to blowing out at Moonee Valley where he had excuses; back to form to win at Narrandera and good second here last time denied just a nose; should be hard to beat here.
Everything points towards MAGNETIC running a big race again. He is flying again following a flat run at the Valley and with 4 wins from 13 starts including 3 seconds he looks to be on an upward trajectory now. Seventh Seal won at Corowa back in June but has failed to fire somewhat the last twice and will need to be at his best to peg back this favourite. Yeldarb isn’t getting any younger and looks pretty exposed so it would be disappointing if he managed to win this. Calescent might prove the biggest threat as she won at Haweksbury last time and some of her form stacks up so definitely one to note in opposition. Bombdiggity best of the rest but out of form right now.

Race 4 Bendigo 5.00 Order Of Glory (2/1)
Promising mare who has shaped with plenty of potential in 3 starts to date; given a lot to do when last seen at Mornington; likely to have improved a bundle since returning from 9 months off; good starting point.
Plenty of unknowns in here with several making their debuts but I’m keen to side with ORDER OF GLORY as she has shown more than enough to win a race like this. She was given a lot to do on final start and I think she’ll be a lot wiser now. If she improves she sets a decent standard and the rest will likely be playing catch-up. Unless anything is smart from the debutants she should win so 2/1 looks pretty generous in my book. Of those first-up Stormbolt is probably the most interesting on paper so I’ll be keeping an eye on the market to see what it makes of him. Akka’s Meteor is 0/14 so there isn’t much quality on show here which makes it an outstanding chance for the selection.
