MY AUSTRALIAN NAP RUNS IN RACE 7 AT MOE ON FRIDAY MORNING!

Race 7 Moe 6.00 Not Usual Glorious (best price 6/5)

Good looking chestnut who is clearly at the top of his game right now having won 4 of his last 5; convincing again at Benalla last month and as long as he acts at this track he is going to take all the beating.

Great chance for NOT USUAL GLORIOUS to salute the judge once more. He needed the run on return at Balaklava before improving again to win at Benalla last time. He will strip even fitter here and if in the same form should take a lot of holding. He will push forward and likely make all the running. Fengarada has 5 wins to his name as well as 4 seconds from 15 attempts. Decent yardstick but was down the field somewhat at Caulfield. If he bounces back he could be the main danger to the favourite. Global Gift had been running well before finishing sixth at Sandown and like the latter will need to better that to figure here. Fifth Position is another one to note but again needs to improve to win this.

Race 3 Kilcoy 4.21 Dutchy’s Angel (best price 7/4)

Likeable mare who is improving with experience and only missed by half a length at Warwick when last seen back in May; given plenty of time since and open to improvement so big chance to go one better.

This appears to be winnable so the improving DUTCHY’S ANGEL can get her head in front now. She went close on debut and bettered that beaten half a length at Warwick when last seen. Back from 5 and a half months off if she is ready to fire she should be capable of taking this out. Licenced And Ready is second fav but is 0/8 so that tells you about the lack of quality on show here. On The Target is a little more unexposed but still needs to show more to be of serious interest here. I guess he at least has fitness on side but lacks the potential the fav brings to the table. Gidget blew out at Gatton last time and is another one that comes here with something to prove so she is hard to fancy.
