Race 4 Ipswich 5.33 Orbisyn (best price 10/11)

Progressive sort who has won 4 from 6 starts and went down less than a length on final start last campaign; open to further improvement and won a recent trial so big chance to make a winning return here.

No surprise to see ORBISYN trading a shade of odds-on for this given his overall profile. He almost certainly has more to come and off the back of a recent trial win he should prove hard to beat here. He will go forward and under aggressive tactics they might not see which way he goes. Shamaton has fitness on side having finished down the field on return at Eagle Farm. Obviously needs to better that to win this but likely will do but I still feel might come up short against the potential the favourite brings to the table. Andy is likeable and has more to offer and won at Grafton but lacks match practice. Should do better for the outing but one to watch going forward for sure.

Good looking chestnut mare who narrowly failed to justify strong support on debut going down just half a length at the line; sure to be more streetwise now and well placed to make the breakthrough here.

Following an encouraging debut I’m keen to side with TURTLENECK going one better here. She only missed narrowly first-up and is sure to have learned plenty from that experience. The money will likely be down again here and she is the most likely winner for me as the market is suggesting. Impending Harmony makes her debut but could still be the danger as she is well bred and will likely have a bright enough future. The market should prove informative to her chance so keep an eye on that. More Importance is 0/4 but has showed promise so don’t entirely rule her out but I’m hopeful the selection will have her measure. Hard to see any of the others making a serious impact.
