NAP – My best tip of the day
Wetherby 2.25 Molly Ollys Wishes (best price 11/8)
Likeable mare who sauntered to success in this last year, staying on strongly to win readily by over 5 lengths; hard to oppose if in that sort of form again as clearly acts well around this track; should take the beating.
The way MOLLY OLLYS WISHES won this last year was impressive and she went on to win a Grade 2 at Ascot at the start of the year. Things didn’t go to plan after that but she is still a very decent mare and given her record fresh I’m expecting her to be hard to beat here. She gives weight all round but clearly goes well at this track and with See The Sea putting good pace to the race things should pan out perfectly for her. Martello Sky is likeable too and a mare I rate quite a lot so she is the obvious danger despite only finishing seventh at the Cheltenham Festival. The thing that concerns me about her is the drop back to 2 miles and I fear it might just catch her out.

Exciting chaser who looked the real deal winning his first 4 starts in this sphere in faultless fashion; failed to give his running at Aintree; undergone wind surgery since and still retains plenty of potential.
This is being billed as one of the races of the weekend and I certainly hope it lives up to expectation! I’m very much in the BRAVEMANSGAME camp. I can’t get that Kempton performance out my head where he left Ahoy Senor standing and I know that rival readily reversed the placings at Aintree but the selection failed to give his running and I’m going to put a line through that. He has had a wind op since and if getting into a decent rhythm will likely prove very hard to beat. Secret Investor would have been the pace angle but he is a non runner now so it will be interesting to see how this pans out. Ahoy Senor lead at Kempton so that might be how this goes which would suit the selection.
