Won sole start in points and impressive both outings over fences winning at Huntingdon on final start last season and then following up emphatically on return at Uttoxeter; 13lb hike but form franked and more to come.
Charlie Longsdon looks to have a progressive chaser on his hands in the shape of TEA FOR FREE and even given a 13lb hike I think he is still well handicapped. He has won both starts over fences by a combined 22 lengths and that Uttoxeter win last time has worked out notably well since. The runner-up Representing Bob is well regarded by the Snowden team and the fourth Bretney and fifth Ladronne both won next time out. He will go on improving over fences for a while yet and 9/4 seems generous to me. Premier D’troice won readily over track and trip when last seen back in the summer and could be the danger if ready to roll on return. At a bigger price Bells Of Peterboro might be value to run a place.

Lingfield 3.10 Missed The Cut (best price 5/2)
Smart colt who won 3 of his first 4 starts including an impressive win at Royal Ascot; failed to fire over in France when last seen but had excuses; remains unexposed and can get back on track here; worth chancing.
I’ve always thought a fair bit of MISSED THE CUT and I’ve been waiting for him to run again since that disappointment in France. He was only actually beaten 5 and three-quarter lengths and the form has been franked since so perhaps it wasn’t as bad as it first looked. He is better than that anyway and back down in grade here he looks a danger to all. He has apparently had a racecourse gallop at Chelmsford and has been working really well so there won’t be any excuses. I expect him to go off a well backed favourite for this and hopefully he justifies that support. Bolshoi Ballet is the clear danger but he lacks a run and also has a bit to prove. Harrovian next in has also been struggling for form.
