MY AUSTRALIAN NAP WON OVERNIGHT AND RUNS IN RACE 5 AT CAULFIELD!

Race 5 Caulfield 4.00 Norwegian Bliss (best price 6/5)

Unbeaten mare who made it a perfect 7-7 winning gamely at Randwick on reappearance; sure to tighten up physically from that and remains open to further improvement so good chance she can go in again.

I was with NORWEGIAN BLISS on her return at Randwick and she didn’t disappoint prevailing by a neck at the line to keep her unbeaten streak intact. She looked as though she’d come on for the run so I think she’ll be hard to beat once more here. Literary Magnate won here and then finished second to Larkspur Run at Flemington and that form should see her as the main danger to the favourite. Streets Of Avalon has been around for an age but does have 10 career victories to his name. Plenty exposed in comparison to the two mentioned above though so will need more but obviously knows how to win. Poland only has the 2 wins from 18 starts but did return to form when second at Flemington.

Race 3 Gold Coast 3.13 Drive A Deel (best price 6/4)

Promising mare who made it four wins in a row getting her nose in front again at Doomben last time, battling on bravely; can keep progressing so expected to have these covered if all goes to plan.

The winning machine DRIVE A DEEL should be able to strike again at Gold Coast overnight. She prevailed narrowly at Doomben last time and is still capable of further improvement after just 10 runs. Akihiro ran well when second to the selection last time and looks the biggest threat again in here. Irish Playboy got his head in front at Doomben and while he is more exposed if he is in the same mood here he might not be too far away again. Indian Dreamer has shaped better the last twice and could be thereabouts for a place if repeating those efforts. Slow Hands is quite a big price but he does need to bring his best to get involved as exposed compared to those at the top of the market.
