MY AUSTRALIAN NAP WON OVERNIGHT AND RUNS IN RACE 4 AT KENSINGTON!

Race 4 Kensington 6.20 Sunshine In Paris (best price 6/4)

Unbeaten filly who really impressed on debut winning convincingly by a couple of lengths at Canberra last month; bred to be smart being a half-sister to a Group 3 winner; better to come yet and should win this.

I’m sticking with the unbeaten SUNSHINE IN PARIS at Kensington on Friday morning. This filly looked potentially useful winning on debut at Canberra and with natural improvement should be capable of making it a perfect 2-2 here. She should get a good pace to track through and will likely be finishing best of all. Royal Merchant is a good looker who won at Canterbury last time. She has more to come and looks the obvious danger. Ammahell won on debut but failed to back that up at Rosehill. It is still early days for him but he has enough to prove against the top 2 in here to win this. Tango Fame has had a few chances already winning once at Warwick Farm but has place claims still.

Race 8 Mornington 6.30 Amnesty (best price 15/8)

Improving filly who made a winning start despite looking rough around the edges over track and trip a month ago; sure to improve from that initial outing and looks well placed from a good draw to make it 2-2.

I can see AMNESTY being backed off the boards come post time at Mornington on Friday. She impressed winning on debut and is definitely going to improve from that. She will push forward early and may well make all. Mir looked promising initially but is now 1 win from 16 so while he has placed 8 times he is a bit vulnerable for win purposes. The Superintendent has blown out the last twice somewhat but is interesting on his earlier form. Apsara won at Dunkeld but struggled at this track last time and that likely leaves her with enough to prove at present. Blonde Venture still has potential but has finished last at Caulfield and Sandown so needs to bounce back to have a say in the outcome.
