NAP – Best tip overnight
MY AUSTRALIAN NAP RUNS IN RACE 2 AT BATHURST ON TUESDAY MORNING!
Race 2 Bathurst 3.40 Overice (best price 11/10)
Progressive mare who has won both starts since her debut and was nicely on top again at Muswellbrook last month; should continue to improve with experience and looks the most likely winner again here.
With the promise of more to come OVERICE can complete the hat-trick. She was in command close home last time and a similar performance should suffice here. Eva’s Deel is a decent yardstick and looks the danger but she was only midfield last time and is going to need to better that form to get seriously competitive. Aphrodotti impressed winning at Goulburn but has been beaten twice since. She could be a threat if bouncing back to her best form. Light Of Uluru was nearly last at Wangaratta and Ballarat but has shaped a little better the last twice and if building on that last run again might sneak a place. Valadyium is exposed compared to the market principals and is easily opposed.

Race 5 Mackay 5.04 Yulong Sovereign (best price 6/4)
Improving all the time judging by the way he made it 3 wins from his last 4 starts over C&D on final start back in the summer; capable of better again and well placed to make a winning return here; keep safe.
This looks a really good chance for YULONG SOVEREIGN to make it 4 wins from his last 5 runs. He showed a good attitude to win his final start over track and trip when last seen back in the summer and promises to be even better now. Xanthus is on a hat-trick too so looks the danger but he is more exposed than the selection. Leadership Spill is a solid yardstick as well and shouldn’t be underestimated but likely needs to bring his best to figure. Finally Realise has won 4 times and was back in the winners enclosure at Townsville last time but this does look a tougher race. Wit won at Mackay last time but she could also run well here perhaps without seriously threatening.
