NAP – My best tip of the day
Wolverhampton 2.30 Frantanck (best price 6/4)
Likeable type who showed a good attitude to get his head back in front at Windsor back in October and then had excuses when too keen at Newmarket on final start; given time since and better still to come.
My NAP was heavily backed again yesterday and got the job done so we head into Friday chasing FOUR WINNERS IN A ROW! I’m now heading to Wolverhampton (after Bangor was abandoned) where FRANTANCK catches the eye back down to a mile. He looked good showing a game attitude to prevail at Windsor and he was just too keen to set out the mile and a quarter at Newmarket on final start. Given plenty of time to get over that he retains potential and should get back on track. Amaysmont can be tricky to catch right but is capable on his best form and has won over C&D in the past which would have to be a positive. Siam Fox was a good third on return at Newcastle and could also run well.

Dundalk 7.30 Rough Diamond (best price 6/4)
Clocked a career best running on strongly in the closing stages to win impressively over C&D when last seen; won 2 of his last 3 now and leading claims despite going up another 7lb; worth keeping on side.
I’m now heading over to Ireland for my second best bet on Friday where ROUGH DIAMOND looks a good bet to make it 3 wins from his last 4. He has only run twice at this track and that has resulted in an excellent third to Harry’s Bar and an impressive victory last time. That was a career best on the figures and it is no surprise to see him being heavily backed for this. He is up 7lb but the way he hit the line the last day that shouldn’t be an issue. Benavente went down less than a length over 7f here last time and if building on that again could be the main danger but he has struggled for consistency in the past. Hodd’s Girl loves it here and she has won 3 times from 6 starts this season so is also respected.
