Tough mare who went hard off the front and was not for catching when heavily backed at Gatton earlier this month; can improve again and now the penny has dropped should be hard to beat; keep on side.
My Australian NAP won again overnight so I’m looking to land a HAT-TRICK on Thursday morning. I like the look of ASSERTIN LADY at Ipswich following that 7 length maiden romp at Gatton. She had some decent form in the book prior to that and will likely follow up here if all goes to plan. Harbelle has just the 1 win from 11 starts but she ran well at Murray Bridge 3 starts back. She has a bit to prove but might still be the biggest danger to this favourite. Kaesear also has the ability to get competitive and she showed that when second here last time but she still only has the 1 win from 17 attempts so while she will be in their pitching for a long way it is hard to see her springing an upset.

Improving filly who first caught the eye going close when third on debut at Geelong and then stepped forward to get within a neck of victory at the same venue last time; up in trip again and should win.
With the promise of more to come going up in trip MAJESTIC STYLE really should be opening her account now. She got really close last time and the extra yardage again here will be right up her street. She is easily the most likely winner in this field so no surprise to see her heading the betting. Daniher didn’t shape badly when fourth at Wangaratta last time but will still need to better that to be a danger here. Pepperdine has more to come and he might be a greater threat. The Riddler also has a future and shaped better when fourth at Geelong so with further progress could be involved at the business end. Nightsun improved to finish second last time but this is a fair bit tougher.
