NAP – My best tip of the day
Ffos Las 12.40 Firestream (best price 2/1)
Looked something out of the ordinary winning impressively in a bumper at Exeter at the start of the year; beaten at Newbury but made an impressive start over hurdles on reappearance at Chepstow; looks a nice prospect.
There was lots to like about the way FIRESTREAM bolted up on hurdles debut at Chepstow last month. He was keen enough in the early stages but I loved the way he took it up still moving strongly and even a mistake 2 out didn’t hinder him as hew drew clear impressively. He is obviously open to improvement and I think he can make it 2-2 over timber here. Rath Gaul Hill is well related and impressed winning on hurdles debut over 2 miles here last month. He also looks to have a bright future so is expected to chase the selection home. The Brew Master brings potential to the table but might do better for the run. Propelled is another one that likely needs time and experience to come good.

Ayr 3.30 Lisloran (best price 3/1)
Left previous form miles behind to land a big gamble over C&D last month, showing a good attitude to prevail with the front pair clear; more to offer off the back of that and no surprise to see him follow up against these.
The money was relentless for LISLORAN over C&D last time and he certainly didn’t let backers down showing a really willing attitude to get on top in the closing stages. He is up 6lb but likely has more to offer off the back of that and this looks a decent opportunity to go in again. Warriors Story ran well when runner-up on reappearance here but failed to build on that at Sedgefield. If he bounces back to form back at this venue then he might emerge as the main danger to the selection. Ardera Cross is a decent yardstick and he obviously ran right up to form when second to the favourite last time so will likely be bang there again if running to that level. Sputnik pulled up last time so has a bit to prove.
