MY AUSTRALIAN NAP RUNS IN RACE 4 AT MOONEE VALLEY ON SATURDAY MORNING!

Race 4 Moonee Valley 3.20 Shuffle Dancer (best price 1/1)

Promising filly who impressed getting off the mark at Sandown last month and backed that up with a big run in defeat when runner-up at Flemington last time; that form stacks up and looks the one to beat here.

I just think SHUFFLE DANCER was given a bit too much to do at Flemington. She really hit the line well and this extra yardage will be right up her street. Her form stacks up wherever you look and she is comfortably the most likely winner of this. Field The Moment won at Cranbourne last time and is a live danger. She needed that thought but can still improve so has to be respected. Running On Time is a perfect 2-2 having won at Swan Hill and Mornington but this is definitely a sterner test of her credentials. Proprietary also made a bright start winning on debut at Mornington and should have a bright enough future. This is a good race that should throw up plenty of future winners.

Race 2 Randwick 1.55 Crafty Eagle (best price 6/5)

Progressive form in recent starts winning 2 of his last 3 and impressing at Gosford last time winning with plenty to spare; obviously open to improvement after just 4 starts and should have too much for these.

Great chance for CRAFTY EAGLE to win again and make it 3 from his last 4. He had plenty up his sleeve when slamming the opposition at Gosford and with more to come can go in again. Dr Evil is way more exposed but has won 5 times in his career including twice over this trip so he needs to be feared. Dimaggio has won 5 from 30 overall and is still quite unexposed at this trip so must also enter calculations. Divine Breath is just 2 from 21 and is going to need more to get involved. She didn’t shape badly when third at Rosehill last time though. Lovetheinvasion should have more to offer and is a good looking type so might do better at some point. This is competitive though so perhaps worth a place bet.
