NAP – Best tip overnight
Race 5 Mackay 6.27 Thailand Is Myland (best price 10/11)
Promising type who is building a progressive profile now and only missed a head to the right horse over shorter here last month; capable of better again and very much the one to beat here.
I thought there was lots to like about how much ground THAILAND IS MYLAND made up late at this track last time and back up in trip which he is 1/1 over he should have too much for this field. He is open to improvement after just 6 starts and no surprise to see him a shade of odds-on at the time of writing. Tricky Beans is more exposed but does have 3 wins to his name so shouldn’t be underestimated and looks the danger. Ready For Magic is 4 from 25 and does have a couple of wins over the trip so is another one that could run well. Cochrane is on a hat-trick but this is tougher and will likely be left vulnerable in the closing stages.

Race 4 Ballina 6.05 Eyes To Eye (best price 6/5)
Likeable type who comes here at the top of his game having got his head back in front over C&D last month; this looks wannabe so can follow up here if arriving in the same sort of form.
I know EYES TO EYE hasn’t always looked the most willing of individuals but he put it altogether again to win over C&D last time and looks in great form right now. If he backs that up then he is definitely the most likely winner. Chanel is a little more unexposed and won at Warracknabeal on penultimate start so could be the danger but she needs to bounce back from last time where she was only fourth at Ipswich. Toots Is Tops has plenty of experience but might find one of the two mentioned above improve past her now. Sienna’s Award and Morning Has Broken both have a squeak but don’t look in good enough form to spring a surprise here.
