MY AUSTRALIAN NAP RUNS IN RACE 6 AT SANDOWN ON WEDNESDAY MORNING!

Race 6 Sandown 6.20 Jaykayann (best price 6/4)

Progressive mare who looked back to her best winning at Benalla back in March and then followed up over C&D last month, swopping late from off the pace; can keep improving so leading claims again.

A big field for this but JAYKAYANN looks the most likely winner. She carries more weight and has a wide draw but the way she picked up last time was impressive and with more to come can land the hat-trick. The Claimant has only won 1 from 12 and has gone off the boil so needs more to win this. Brooklyn Boss might be a bigger danger as he ran well when second at this track on penultimate start and had excuses when only midfield at Mornington last month. The rest are double figure prices and up against it.

Race 6 Ipswich 6.28 Caesaris (best price 2/1)

Promising filly who impressed getting off the mark at Sunshine Coast on penultimate start; denied just a nose last time and arguably unlucky not to be coming here eyeing up a hat-trick of wins now.

This looks a great opportunity for CAESARIS to make it 2 wins from her last 3 starts. She is improving all the time and looked a bit unlucky last time missing by just a nose. She has more to come after just a handful of starts and really should be justifying favouritism in this. Hurts So Good impressed winning on debut and he is respected but he lacks experience and will find this tougher. Tarps got off the mark last time but finds himself in a better race here so while he is respected he will need more too.
