Good looking chestnut who has shown plenty of promise in 4 starts so far and went close again at Tamworth last month; more to come now and obvious chance of opening his account against these.

With two trial wins to his name DEVILICIOUS was a warm order to get off the mark on return and he only found one too good. With that under his belt he should salute the judge now and will likely be a warm order to do so. Patron Of Power showed potential when third on debut at Moree and if stepping forward from that will likely be the danger. Venatic has had a few chances already and she might find a couple improve past her. Mrs Bigglesworth is interesting but she might need more time and experience.

Race 4 Pakenham 5.30 Made Of Gold (best price 7/4)

Promising type who keeps improving with experience and again knocked on the door when runner-up at Cranbourne when last seen last month; more to come and should be able to take this out.

Great chance for the improving MADE OF GOLD to get off the mark. He has gone close on more than one occasion and should be too classy for this field. He has the best form in here and there really shouldn’t be any excuses. Arctic Princess is more exposed and didn’t exactly scream that she was ready to win when only fourth at Echuca last time. Shark Island could threaten but he also needs to improve as that fifth here last time just wouldn’t be good enough. Knentii possibly best of the rest.
