Smart type who has already won 7 times and is 5 from 9 over the trip and unbeaten at this track; more to come yet and will love the extra yardage so should be finishing best of all in this.

The way QUANTICO flashed home in the Listed Ortensia Stakes at Scone last time was eye-catching missing by just a nose. He will be fitter now and should love the extra yardage on offer. McDonald gets the leg up and there is lots to like. Prince Of Boom has won 6 times but needs to better that run at Doomben last time which wouldn’t be good enough. Far Too Easy was building a good profile before only sixth last time. If back to his best he could threaten but a few questions to answer.

Race 4 Morphettville 4.47 Storyteller (best price 2/1)

Likeable type who made a winning start at Oakbank and then likely improved in defeat going down just half a length over track and trip last month; more to come and the one to beat.

This looks a great opportunity for STORYTELLER to make it 2 wins from 3 starts. He went close last time and is clearly a horse on the upgrade. This is quite a good race potentially but I think he could be a nice prospect in time so he gets a confident vote. Bristler is a good looking grey and he ran well to finish third here on debut. With natural improvement he looks set to emerge as the danger. Runaway Belle won at Murray Bridge and then finished fourth here last time and is another to note.
