Race 4 Kalgoorlie 7.20 Talk It Up (best price 7/4)

Promising type who was back to his best winning over slightly shorter at this track last month; likely hard to beat if running to that sort of level again in this.

This looks a great chance for TALK IT UP to follow up. He was an impressive 4 length winner at this track last month and if running to that sort of level should be able to follow up. Double Spice has won 6 times so looks the danger but he was nearer last than first at Belmont last time and that is a bit concerning. Hilton also struggled last time but before that was running to a decent level so if bouncing back is another one that could threaten briefly.

Race 4 Warrnambool 5.05 Circle The Sun (best price 9/4)

Thriving recently winning 3 of his last 4 starts and was nicely on top again at Sandown last month bolting up in the end; unexposed over this trip so the one to beat.

It is hard to look past the hat-trick seeking CIRCLE THE SUN who could still have more to come especially over the trip. He fairly bolted up last time and if in the same form should be able to complete the hat-trick. Maatsuyker has only won once and was poor last time but if he bounces back he could still be a factor. Cotton Eye Joe won on penultimate start but has a bit to prove after that last run. Thistler also has a squeak but this is definitely tougher company.
