Race 5 Mount Gambier 6.35 Joe’s Giggle (best price 1/1)
Good looking chestnut who has won 2 of his last 4 and only missed a couple of lengths at this track last time; more to come as his stamina is drawn out and very much the one to beat again.
The improving JOE’S GIGGLE should be able to get back to winning ways at Mount Gambier overnight. He won at Horsham and then went close here last time. He will bounce out and go forward and up in trip could gallop these into submission. Mo’s Stash won on debut at Ballarat but then was disappointing at Swan Hill so needs to bounce back to emerge as the danger. Scandalous Scarlet has just the 1 win from 16 attempts and while she could get competitive you’d have to think she is vulnerable for win purposes. The rest seem to be up against it.

Race 7 Sandown 6.55 Tasman Park (best price 7/4)
Likeable type who has held his form well in defeat since winning here back in December last year; beaten just a length over slightly shorter here last month and back up in trip has a great chance.
I’m confident TASMAN PARK is the one to beat here. He has won 3 from 6 overall and went close last time. This is winnable and if he improves again he should have these covered. Wascaly is also going the right way having won 3 from 4 to date. He likely has more to come so looks the obvious danger. Arktika has been shaping well recently at Flemington and at this track last time and she is another one that should be in the shake-up. Jabbawockeez won at Pakenham but then was only fourth at Geelong and needs more to spring an upset in this.
