This should be a great opportunity for ROCKING GEM to win again. This mare made the breakthrough when last seen hitting the line hard to win at Northam. She hasn’t been seen since but is open to further improvement and can fire when fresh so plenty to like. Natural Gem has more to come and is the danger.

After missing just a nose on debut TONKIN is expected to be hard to beat on her return. She was well backed that day at Bendigo and it was only inexperience that cost her. She’ll know more now and should get the job done at the second time of asking. Sirena ran well at Pakenham and is the biggest threat.
